2013 Toyota Yaris 1.4 D-4D
Loss of power with fault codes P2463 & P1608 stored
Faults diagnosed and rectified on 03/08/18
The owner of this Yaris travelled over 30 miles to us after his normal garage failed to fix the fault.
The DPF filter was partially blocked.
After interviewing the owner we were able to identify the cause of the blocking was not down to the journey type or driving style.
Armed with all the information we carried out a thorough diagnosis which revealed 2 faults – the first was causing premature blocking of the DPF and the second was preventing regeneration taking place. The faults were rectified and after an extended road test and a successful regeneration the repair was validated.
