Job: DPF light on, Engine light on, coil light flashing and loss of power
Vehicle Details: Seat Leon FR 2.0 PD 170 BHP
Stage 1
(the most important one, why has the DPF failed)
Our tried and tested method of diagnosing this fault revealed a few faults, first of all the pressures were way too high, checked the wiring integrity and found one wire hanging on for dear life with only 2 strands.
And also couple other wires which had their insulation removed.
Wiring repaired, and now the cleaning process
Stage 2
DPF left to soak in the good stuff and then flushed out
Stage 3
Recheck the Pressures, followed by a test drive
Everything is working as it should, the vehicle now completes a regeneration on its own.
