The A4 was presented to us with loss of power and a flashing glow plug light plus engine management light illuminated.
Our professional and proven diagnostic procedure was carried out along with analysis of the DPF pressure which revealed a very high soot load.
The electronic diagnosis revealed a wiring fault which had prevented regeneration taking place and had lead to the DPF blocking.
We repaired the wiring which saved the the cost of a new one.
We then carried out our 3 stage DPF clean which saw the pressure return to a nice low level.
An extended road test and rechecking of pressures confirmed yet another successful repair at a fraction of the price it would have cost at a franchised dealership.
