VW Passat in this week with a badly blocked DPF as usual there is always a reason why the DPF has blocked.
In this case the turbo actuator had failed which we are able to replace as a stand alone item using a manufacturers repair kit.
The other issue was a DPF pressure sensor that was reading incorrectly.
With this replaced we were able to carry out our on car three stage cleaning process which fixed this vehicle without replacing the DPF.
