Nissan X Trail with a blocked DPF showing Fault Code P1436 was in today with our accredited member of The DPF Doctor network – Clive Atthowe Tuning who is based in Norwich.
Our in depth diagnostics revealed a turbo boost issue causing virtually no boost at all.
After the boost issue was rectified we carried out our on car three stage cleaning process using the excellent JLM products.
The results were fantastic reducing the back pressure down to 4 millibar at idle and 17 millibar under load. After an extended road test we confirmed that this vehicle was fixed without the expense of removing or replacing the DPF.
