Not our normal vehicle but recently purchased by a local bodyshop that uses us for programming and coding.
The DPF was badly blocked and just regeneration faults stored.
However after carrying out our normal diagnostic process we found that the vaporiser in the exhaust had failed so no diesel was being injected to regenerate the DPF.
After carrying out our on vehicle three stage cleaning process and despite the vehicle having covered over 150,000 miles the pressure was reduced in the DPF to 10 millibar from a previous 150 millibar.
Extended road testing quickly established that the vehicle went into regeneration and functioned normally and was fixed.
