The vehicle would cut out when placed under load above 3,000 rpm.
This fault was caused by a blocked diesel fuel filter.
Further investigation revealed no DPF back pressure at all.
This was caused by the DPF pressure pipes having failed along with a partially blocked DPF and a faulty pressure sensor.
With the faults rectified we carried out our on car three stage cleaning process using the JLM cleaning system this reduced the back pressure back to normal levels and an extensive road test confirmed normal operation with no cutting out.
The previous fault codes P2458 and P0089 were not present and the car was fixed without removing or replacing the DPF.
