This van had already had the DPF removed and cleaned but was still having problems.
We carried out our in depth diagnostics using the Ford dealer tool and established that there was a problem with the vaporiser in the exhaust not operating correctly.
After removal we found it was blocked solid with carbon deposits.
With a new vaporiser installed we carried out our on car three stage cleaning process and after an extended road test confirmed that the back pressure was normal and the van regenerated correctly.
Another vehicle fixed without having to replace the DPF saving the customer great expense.
