This 2008 Citroen C4 Picasso came in to the workshop recently with the dreaded “Anti-Pollution system fault” flashing up on the dash.
This warning can be a bit of a red herring as it can actually be triggered by various types of fault, and not necessarily related to the emissions control system.
However, on this occasion our initial assessment found the issue was infact connected to the DPF in that the module controlling the separate additive tank was faulty, with this unit replaced the system was back online and the car able to actively regenerate the DPF.
Another problem solved, another driver quickly back on the road with minimal expense.
