Ford Kuga in this week with the DPF and engine management warning lights on running in a reduced power mode.
Careful diagnostics revealed that the fuel vaporiser heater had failed meaning that the DPF couldn’t regenerate and had become badly blocked.
With a new vaporiser fitted we carried out our on car cleaning process to successfully clean the DPF and restore normal performance without replacing the DPF, this car was fixed.
