This Boxer is usually flying around Kent delivering pet supplies but it staggered into our workshop after the company’s contracted repairer were unable to fix it.
We carried out a full diagnostic assessment of the engine management and DPF systems which revealed an electrical fault that had prevented regeneration taking place. Due to the time the vehicle was driven with the fault the DPF was badly blocked.
The fault was repaired and a 3 stage clean was carried out on the DPF. Within 4 hours we were road testing the vehicle with full power restored and a successful regeneration was observed.
