This customer came to us on recommendation.
When diagnosing faults on vehicles, a key part of the process is gathering as much information from the customer as possible.
This vehicle had already been to several garages with several hundreds spent.
Our diagnosis revealed a sensor that’s signal was very slightly over-reading. Although this was not the main cause of the blocking, it certainly wasn’t helping so we replaced it.
The main cause was simple- too many short journeys.
We advised the customer on how best to keep the system healthy just be helping her to plane a regular journey to allow successful regeneration.
