DPF Cleaning & Fault finding Falkirk
This VW Transporter came into The DPF Doctor Falkirk with a flashing Glow Plug Light and Engine Management Light on .

During our 3 stage process we found the DPF had failed to regenerate due to a fault in the system P242A . The fault was traced to a faulty Exhaust Temperature Sensor which had jammed at a reading of 1000’C .
After replacing the faulty part the system was rechecked to make sure all live data was correct and the DPF was regenerating as it should.
