Renault Trafic 2.0 DCI DF297 fixed!
We attended this Trafic taxi in Glasgow which was suffering from DPF issues. Fault code DF297 was stored due to a very badly clogged DPF with back pressure readings of over 600 mbar at 2500rpm. We also found a fault with some pipework which had contributed to the DPF clogging up so this was repaired on site and a 3 Stage DPF clean carried out. The back pressure reading was reduced to a mere 30 mbar at 2500rpm and this taxi was back on the road making money again.
