This Audi came into our agent in Carluke, South Lanarkshire in limp home mode and with a severely blocked DPF.
The exhaust gas back pressure was over 1300 mbar at idle!!! The original cause of the failed regenerations was a faulty EGR valve which had been replaced by another garage the week before.
After our 3 Stage DPF clean we reduced back pressure down to just 5 mbar.
We monitored live data during the post clean road test to ensure passive regeneration would now occur naturally on its own.
