This VW Passat arrived at our Ashington HQ this afternoon in limp mode with DPF fault codes P2463 & P2452 stored. Our diagnostics checks showed that we had a sensor fault and also that the soot loading was too high to perform a forced regeneration. The sensor was a part that we keep in stock so we replaced this with a new, genuine part and then carried out a 3 stage DPF clean. Thecar was back on the road within 2 hours and the customer saved ££££’s compared to the cost of replacement.
