This Mondeo was stuck in limp mode with the engine malfunction message on the dash.
Our live data and manual testing revealed the DPF was badly blocked and we discovered another component failure that was preventing regenerations from taking place. The owner opted to have his local garage replace the faulty part so we re-attended a few days later and carried out our 3 Stage DPF clean to get the car back on the road and out of limp mode.
On our post clean road test we monitored live data to confirm passive regenerations were now back taking place successfully.
