Here is a 2008 Audi A5 2.7 TDI having a 3 stage DPF clean. We carried out our in depth diagnostic data logging to identify a faulty sensor and that the DPF back pressure was 260 mbar at 2500rpm meaning it was severely blocked. After we carried out the 3 stage DPF clean the back pressure dropped to a mere 20 mbar at 2500 rpm meaning the exhaust gases were now free flowing once again. The customer faced having to buy a new DPF, but instead the customer saved a four figure sum.
