This poorly Mercedes came into our Ashington HQ in limp mode with DPF fault codes P2453 and P2463 stored. The customer uses the car for mainly short journeys and this was the cause of the excessive soot accumulation due to failed regenerations. We carried out a 3 stage DPF clean, road tested and checked all perameters. All good so we quickly had the customer back on the road and gave them some advise on how to look after the DPF.
