Range Rover Evoque DPF & Adblue Assessment at our Ashington HQ.
This poorly Evoque came in with DPF and Adblue warnings on the dash so we set about assessing the problem to see if it what was causing the problem. In this case, the DPF was a red herring and wasn't blocked.... It simply couldn't regenerate because of the NOX fault. After fixing thr NOX fault, we carried out an extended road test to confirm that regeneration can now take place.
As part of our DPF assessment on these cars we also include a PN test (Particulate Number) using our specialist equipment as they are common for internal cracking. This one is working perfectly fine so this was also good news for the customer 😀
Mitsubishi L200 DPF Assessment after the customer had fitted an aftermarket DPF.
Unfortunately it wasn't great news on this L200 as the new DPF filter wasn't doing anything in the way of filtering! Using our specialist PN (Particulate Number) testing equipment we were able to quickly determine that the new DPF was no good and a new, genuine unit would be needed.
We always advise against using cheap aftermarket parts and recommend OE or OE equivalent quality every time.

Citroen Berlingo 1.6HDI Euro 6 follow up appointment.
We had this Berlingo in for repair a few month's ago when we replaced the DPF/SCR, refilled the additive tank and a couple of other small repairs. This follow up appointment was scheduled at the time of the repairs and carried out free of charge just to make sure that everything was still running as expected. A clean bill of health from the DPF Doctor himself 👌

Peugeot Expert 1.6 HDI DPF Additive tank refill & DPF clean.
This Peugeot reached us just in time as the Additive level was below the minimum level and also the DPF was at the end of it's service life. This resulted in the ECU prohibiting DPF regeneration so the DPF started to block up. When this happens on PSA vehicles it is critical to act quickly as the DPF can very quickly become damaged!
We refilled the additive tank with the correct fluid, cleaned the DPF, reset all adaptations and carried out an extended road test to make sure that everything was now working as intended.
All done within a few hours of the diagnosis and back on the road the same day.
