Audi A6 2.0 TDI Euro 6 P2002 DPF Efficiency fault diagnosed.
We see alot of these faults on Euro 6 VAG group cars and in alot of cases it is caused by a blocked low pressure EGR cooler. However, this fault code can also be triggered by numerous other things so it is important to diagnose the problem properly before replacing any expensive (and labour intensive) parts. In this case it was being caused by the EGR cooler as we proved this during our diagnostic assessment.
All of the evidence was then presented to the customer so they can make an informed decision about the repairs needed.

VW Golf 1.6 TDI Euro 6 P2458 DPF regeneration duration fault.
We carried out our DPF Assessment on this Golf for one of our long term trade customers to see if anything had been missed. There were no physical faults on the car so as part of our assessment we monitored DPF data during regeneration on road test.
This confirmed that the car, if driven correctly was indeed capable of completing regeneration in the correct timescale.
Next thing to do was to liase with the garage about some tweaks to the driving style to avoid further problems.
